How do I know if coaching is right for me?
Coaching is right for you if you’ve been feeling stuck, unfulfilled, or are struggling to achieve goals despite your best efforts. What results can I expect?
While many clients experience enhanced self-awareness, improved decision-making, and a more positive outlook, it’s important to note that results can vary from person to person.
While I care deeply about my clients, and am dedicated to you progress, I cannot guarantee specific outcomes. The effectiveness of coaching depends on your individual effort and commitment to the process. Your active participation and dedication are key factors in achieving the results you desire.
How long does the coaching process take?
Although the length of the coaching process varies depending on your individual goals and needs, I require a minimum commitment of 3 months for 1:1 coaching clients and relationship coaching clients. Group coaching is an 8 week program.
Some clients achieve their objectives in 3 months, while others may benefit from ongoing support over a longer period. During our initial consultation, we’ll discuss your goals and create a timeline that fits your needs. The coaching process is flexible and designed to accommodate your pace and progress, ensuring that you receive the support you need to reach your desired outcomes.
How does coaching process work? What can I expect during our sessions?
The coaching process starts with a consultation call where we both determine if we’re a good fit to work together. If we decide to move forward, our initial session will focus on understanding your goals and creating a customized action plan that outlines clear steps for you to take each week. This plan serves as a roadmap, helping you focus on your progress and stay on track. During each session, we’ll revisit your action plan, discuss any challenges, and review homework assignments designed to support your growth.
Throughout our time together, you can expect a safe, non-judgmental space where your I will listen, engage in expoloratory questioning, and provide guidance to help you achieve your goals
How is coaching different from therapy?
Coaching differs from therapy in its focus and approach. While therapy often addresses past trauma, emotional healing, and mental health diagnosis/disorders, coaching is future-focused and action-oriented. Although there can be some overlap in the work, coaching emphasizes goal-setting, overcoming obstacles, and creating actionable steps for growth, but does not focus on exploring deeper emotional wounds.
Is coaching confidential
I prioritize creating a safe and trusting environment for our sessions. At the end of our consultation call, if you decide to move forward with me as your coach, I will provide a package that includes our policies, including our privacy policy/your right to confidentiality.
So in short, yes, coaching is confidential. However, there are a few exceptions that warrant a breach in confidentiality. 1) If I believe you may be a harm to yourself or others and 2) if information disclosure has been required by state or federal laws. Ultimately, your privacy and safety are of utmost importance to me, and I will handle all information with care and respect.
